Car rental in Eleuthera is very informal. There is no paperwork, simply meeting one of the locals at the airport, who solicit your business, set a price, and give you the keys.

Usually the cars are slighted aged, but in good shape. Occasionally you can get a new Jeep. Prices vary, depending on how long you want the vehicle, but you should not spend more that $50-60/day for a car, and $70/day for a jeep. Weekly rates are negociable.

Remember, you must drive on the LEFT side of the road, as in England.
