The house is a very simple structure, (see HOUSE AND FLOOR PLAN and is built built with the ocean views foremost in mind. The front and front sides facing the ocean are entirely glass. Neighbors questioned the sanity of the owner, since they reasoned that the house is TOO close to the beach, and that the next hurricane would swoop the house away.

But this owner is thinking about the many days and years when there is no hurricane problems in the area, and remembering that vacationers come to the Bahamas for beach, beach, and more beach. And if not on the beach, a great view of the beach. There is a large deck to afford comfortable viewing of the pond in back of the house, as well as the beach, the whitecaps, and the nearby offshore islands, the Gut Islands. Fins and masks are provided for the snorkelers and divers etc. The nearest house is about a quarter mile away.

The property is located on the Atlantic side of the island, in the middle of the 100 mile long isle, just south of Palmetto Point, and north of Double Bay, as shown on the map:

There is an electric stove, large refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, am/fm stereo, with CD player. DVD player with a choice of a collection of 50 classic DVDs (free for renters of le Sable) There is a queen bed, and a large fold-out couch, to use if there are more than two people there. But, basically, the house is designed for couples, who desire to be immersed in the ocean, and the beach, and who desire solitude with the optional conveniences of civilization.
